Dinner


This is the first dinner I have ever made on my own. (not including mac and cheese and that sort of thing.) Its chicken cooked to perfection! I even made my own sauce. (Which really didn't taste at all like I wanted it to... but thats okay, We're still learning!) The sauce is tomato sauce with onions, garlic, and thyme. yum yum. I may not totally starve to death in college.

Clearing Things Up

Alright, my mother has brought to my attention that the name of my blog may not be exactly as clear as I hoped it would be. Its not about regrets or anything like that. I was trying to hit on Robert Frost's poem. I'll post it here.


Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowning how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
This is my all time favorite poem! What I was trying to get at with the title is that this is my own life. The things I will be doing will be my own road. The one less traveled by. There could have been more fitting names in that poem, but I figured the title of the poem was the absolute best.
